Village Hands Cafe, nestled in Monroe, NY, is a delightful retreat for food lovers seeking fresh, wholesome dishes. As I stepped inside this charming cafe, the cozy atmosphere immediately embraced me, enhanced by homey decor reminiscent of forest lodges. The aroma of farm-fresh ingredients filled the air, enticing my taste buds.
Patrons rave about the vibrant breakfast options here. Dr. Asmaa Alfadhel praised the sunny-side-up eggs paired with mozzarella and the customizable omelettes, while Amy Arensberg was enamored with the banana walnut pancakes and croque madame. The avocado toast also garnered significant love, making it a must-try.
Customer experiences align on the cafe's welcoming staff and swift service. However, one reviewer, White Owl, highlighted an unfortunate chilly atmosphere that detracted from their visit. Despite this, they left hopeful for a summer return to enjoy the outdoor seating.
Overall, Village Hands Cafe is a gem where delicious food, a warm community vibe, and charming aesthetics come together. I can’t wait to return and dive into their menu for a second helping of their delightful creations!

Deliciousss farm fresh food. Had the sunny side up eggs with mozzarella, build your own omelettes, avocado toast, freshly squeezed orange juice. Did not like the coffee late though. Highly recommend

I love everything I've had here! Today I tried the banana walnut pancakes and they were amazing. The croque madame, the egg salad on toast, and the avocado toast are other favorites.

We had wanted to visit this place for a long time after it was recommended by our friends. It took us 40 minutes to get here from Monsey. The atmosphere is very cozy, with lovely design, friendly staff, a clean restroom, and delicious desserts. Our large group of six managed to fit at one table, and they even had a high chair for the little one. The order was served very quickly! The only and biggest downside was the extreme cold. We left the car without our jackets, expecting to warm up in a cozy space, but we ended up having to go back to the car to get them. The food got cold within minutes, so we had to drink cold-hot chocolate and eat cold eggs. Our feet froze in our shoes, and we couldn’t wait to get back to the car and turn on the heater. We initially planned to stay longer, order extra desserts for the kids, and have coffee, but we were so chilled that we rushed back to the car just to warm up. Final thoughts: The check for two adults and four kids was 107 (pretty reasonable). I’ll give it five stars in the hope of returning in the summer to fully enjoy the outdoor seating and all its comforts.

Wonderful space. How have I not know about this place in Monroe. Love the atmosphere and it’s such a wonderful place to go sit and work or have tea. The food was pretty good, though it was my family that ate it. However I look forward to going back and trying on my own. Absolutely just love the people working there so friendly and they have such a cute idea with the shop. Keep it up.

Decided to stop here on a whim before work for some breakfast. I ordered 2 eggs with avocado toast and an iced vanilla oat milk latte. I was blown away by how delicious the coffee blend was and by how fresh and delicious the food was. The service was fast and friendly which was appreciated. The cafe is also decorated very beautifully and I love the vibe that has been curated here through the art and seating areas. I will definitely be returning.

Great atmosphere. Coffee is excellent! Both regular brews and espressos. The omelets are awesome and fluffy. Genuine New York bagels. Don't miss this place when you're in the area. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a coffee.

We spent the weekend in this area and we were looking for a good spot for breakfast. We found this cute little place and as we walked in the place had a unique and cute atmosphere. There were numerous paintings on the walls and cute decoration all over the place. They had antique furniture which looked really nice. We ordered sandwiches for breakfast they were delicious and the portions were generous. Friendly staff, quick service, great options of the flavorful coffee. Only 1 hour drive from the city and many hiking trails in that area. This place is also kid friendly ! Highly recommended!
